THE WORLD OF VINTAGE ELECTRIC PIANOS

There's a wide variety of different keyboard instruments available - from synthesizers, to digital pianos, to the increasingly authentic sounding software on our computers.

But there is something special about an electromechanical keyboard - pressing a key, and feeling the swing of a hammer - that creates a sound unattainable through pressing a button or loading a plug-in.

But all of the electric pianos we know and love were built 40-60 years ago, and as they've aged they've began losing some of the qualities that made them what they were. Breathing new life into these instruments is what Goldstate Electric Pianos does, and we have a passion for doing it correctly, thoroughly, and wherever possible, improving them beyond what they ever were before.

A BIT MORE ABOUT US

My name is Dan Saslow, and I'm the owner of Goldstate Electric Pianos.

I began this craft when I joined world-renowned Ken Rich Sound Services, and with Ken as my mentor, I learned the foundation of vintage electric piano and organ restoration. His standard of excellence is what propelled me to where I am today, and showed me what was possible with these instruments.

With Goldstate Electric Pianos, I wanted to limit the scope of the work entirely to electric pianos. I can offer my own unique approach to their restoration, with the highest standards and experience.
